You know what? You deserve to treat yourself, and what better way to treat yourself than to indulge in a steak dinner with your loved ones? We know just the spot, and you’re going to love it. Gas up the car, because today we’re heading over to Baton Rouge to a little homey restaurant that’s home to some of the best steaks in Louisiana.
Doe’s Eat Place has been a tradition for many in the Greater Baton Rouge Area.
Established in 1941 by Dominick "Doe" Signa and his wife, Mamie, with nothing but half of a recipe for tamales and a passion for food. Over the years, they gained a loyal fan base and nailed down the other half of that tamale recipe and the rest, as they say, is history!
When you arrive at Doe’s, it feels like you’re walking into someone’s home.
Filets, porterhouses, t-bones, and ribeyes, oh my!
All of their steaks are aged at least 21 days and are hand-cut daily from whole beef loins, so you know they’re going to be full of flavor and just melt-in-your-mouth.
And they often have nighty specials from the talented chefs in the kitchen.
For more information, visit their website and don’t forget to give them a follow on Facebook so you never miss out on any of their latest creations.
