Ready to transport yourself through time? Well, then you have to make your way over to Lafayette where you’ll find the Acadian Village, a beautiful 32-acre attraction that will transport you to early Acadian times so you can get a glimpse of what life was like 200 years ago.

Located in Lafayette, this beautiful hidden gem was created in the 1970s in order to improve tourism and preserve Acadian heritage.

There are a dozen buildings to view, and seven of them are authentic homes from the 19th century that have been donated by the families whose ancestors once occupied them.
