Everyone loves a bargain, right? Well, this one special antique store is just chockful of treasures galore, and it’s worth a drive from any of the state. Gas up the car and pack some snacks, because today we’re headed to Breaux Bridge where you’ll find Lagniappe Antiques, one of the most incredible antique stores in Louisiana. From chandeliers to soaps and everything in between, you’re bound to go home with a few new finds. Let’s check it out.
Welcome to Lagniappe Antique, a delightfully charming antique mall located in the heart of historic downtown Breaux Bridge.
Even the building itself is a bit of an antique. It was home to the Dominigue Motor Company in the 1920s before closing down in 1984. After being abandoned for some time, Lagniappe Antiques made it their home in 2008.
Their collection is always rotating in new finds, so no two trips are ever the same. Books, art, vases...the list just goes on an on. With over 30 dealers, you can bet there is a wide array of items to browse through.
