There’s something hauntingly beautiful about slowly watching a building being reclaimed by Mother Nature. The Kisatchie High School was once a thriving center for education, but now sits abandoned, in the middle of the Kisatchie National Forest. If these walls could talk, I bet they’d have some stories to tell. Let’s take a walk down memory lane and uncover the history of this abandoned high school in Louisiana.
Please remember that abandoned places are more than likely off-limits to the public. These places have been deteriorating for decades and are unsafe, unstable, and dangerous to explore. It’s illegal to trespass, so just enjoy these photos and video footage from the comfort (and safety) of your own home.
