When it comes to epic parks, this one in Louisiana might just take the cake. Located in West Monroe, this incredible hidden oasis has just about everything you could imagine, making it the perfect spot to spend the day with family and friends. Next time you find yourself in the northeastern corner of the state, be sure to make time to pay a visit to Kiroli Park.
Kiroli Park has been one of the most popular parks in the Monroe/West Monroe area since it opened in 1980.
For an entry fee of just $1 per person, you’ll be able to explore 150 acres of sprawling green space, walking trails, nature paths, tennis courts, gardens, and much more.
Each trail is roughly a mile in length and features different areas of the park. Stroll through peaceful gardens, enjoy the scenery of the wetlands, or marvel at an endless sea of wildflowers.
Mix and match the trails to get the most out of your visit, and don't miss out on the cool swinging bridge!
Kiroli Park has multiple playgrounds with separate areas for different ages. Pictured above is Pappadeaux’s playground, which is designed specifically for children ranging from 6 months to 4 years of age.
Your kids imagination will run wild as they traverse through the different activity zones including a harmony music area, a sensory animal circle, slides, jungle gyms, and more.
Kiroli Park is also an ideal place to host children’s birthday parties, family reunions, or small gatherings. The park is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. Be sure to follow them on Facebook to stay up to date on the latest happenings at this awesome park.
