One of the perks of Louisiana’s relatively flat terrain is that the majority of Louisiana’s hiking trails are kid-friendly. Sure, some may be longer than others, and we wouldn’t necessarily recommend taking a five-year-old on a 26-mile hiking adventure, but there are plenty of short and sweet hiking trails that are great ways to introduce to the next generation of nature lovers. This one lovely park in Louisiana is a perfect spot to bring the whole family out for a day of adventure.

One of the trails that goes through the park is the Tammany Trace, a 30+ mile-long paved trail that takes you through five towns in St. Tammany Parish.
