No matter how far you travel, a piece of you will always be in Louisiana. There are a few things that will always remind you of this beautiful state, and here are some of our favorites.
Those beautiful trees draped in Spanish moss will forever be a staple of Louisiana.
Also nutria, turtles, and other swamp creatures.

An obvious one, yes. But if you saw these anywhere outside of Louisiana (and outside of Mardi Gras season) you’re bound to think of home.

We have several craft breweries in Louisiana, so seeing any one of them outside the state will trigger memories, but you probably have the best chance of spotting an Abita outside the area… Even if it’s an Abita Root Beer.
That soulful, dance-in-the-street-music will always have you thinking of Louisiana and our musical roots.
I don’t know how often you’d see one, but if you do, it’s hard not to be transported to Cajun Country wishing you were at a fais-do-do.
