Next time you find yourself in Thibodaux, be sure to stop by this historic little village for a fascinating glimpse at our past.
You’ll find Laurel Valley Plantation over in Thibodaux.
Part museum and part store, this little general store is a must if you visit Laurel Valley.
It’s a great place to stock up on homemade jams, jellies, and other local products, as well as to check out the old photographs and tools used for sugar cane cultivation.
You’ll also find lots of farm animals wandering about and you can buy a bag of feed for them if you’d like - it’s a great treat for the kids!
Laurel Plantation Valley Store is located at 595 Hwy. 308, Thibodaux, LA 70301 and is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. You’ll find the historic village just a bit further up the road. For more information, visit its website here.
