We’ve often said that some of the best restaurants you’ll ever dine at are tucked away in assuming, run-down buildings. That’s certainly the case with Herby-K’s in Louisiana, a local dive in Shreveport that’s been serving up some of the most delicious Cajun food in north Louisiana since 1939.

At first glance, you may be tempted to pass up this little hole-in-the-wall off of I-20 in Shreveport.

Butterflied shrimp are fried to a perfect golden brown and placed on crispy French bread and served with a side of their homemade Shrimp Buster Sauce. Pair that with some fries and coleslaw, and you have yourself a meal to remember!
