Andrew Jackson Hotel
This hotel is believed to be haunted by the ghosts of five young boys who died in a fire in 1778, when it was a boys boarding school. Several guests and staff have heard the kids playing in the halls and in the courtyard in the middle of the night, and others have seen the boys sitting on the beds watching television.

Hotel Bentley
The Hotel Bentley opened in 1908, and over a hundred years later, one of the resident guests people have seen is that of the hotel’s original owner, Mr. Bentley himself. The hotel is also haunted by the spirit of a little girl who reportedly fell down an elevator shaft.

Myrtles Plantation
You can’t make a list of haunted places to stay the night and not include the Myrtles! This plantation is known as the most haunted plantation in the world, and you can stay the night and see for yourself. The plantation has a number of ghosts, but the most famous one would be Chloe, who was a slave who was hanged when she poisoned the owner’s family.

Bourbon Orleans
If you’re looking to see a ghost, the Bourbon Orleans hotel might be your best bet, as it’s said to be haunted by as many as 17 ghosts. Most of the ghosts are small children, but there’s even a Confederate Soldier who has been seen walking around the sixth floor. Before it was a hotel, it was an orphanage and a convent where several children and nuns died during a massive yellow fever epidemic that struck New Orleans. A common sighting is a little girl that is chasing after a ball on the sixth floor.

Le Pavillon Hotel
There are a few ghosts said to haunt this four star hotel that’s just steps away from the French Quarter. One of the popular ghosts guests have seen is Ava, who haunts the hotel’s lobby. It’s believed that Ava was killed in a carriage accident, and her spirit remains at the hotel unable to move on. She is seen pacing the lobby, wearing a long black skirt, a hat, and carrying a clutch. She’s even been reported to bump into people before vanishing into thin air. Other guests have reported seeing a married couple walking the grounds of the hotel, vanishing through closed doors, walls, and elevators. The man is described as having a mustache and smoking a cigar, the woman is said to be wearing a long blue dress. They are often holding hands, happily walking around.

Oak Alley Plantation
One of the most famous plantations, Oak Alley may be known for its amazing canopy as you walk up the driveway, but it’s also known for the spirits that remain within the walls. There are a few different ghosts said to haunt the grounds, one in particular is Josephine Pile Roman, the wife of the original owner. Many have seen her riding her horse around the estate. Other guests have claimed to see another ghost, that of Jacques Telesphore Roman II in the reflection of an old mirror in the attic. Staff have reported being touched by an unseen entity, and even once, during a tour, a candlestick flew across the room!

Hotel Monteleone
Built in 1886, Hotel Monteleone has had several ghost sightings throughout the years. Several ghost hunters have investigated the hotel, hoping to make contact with the "other side." One of the many spirits that frequent the hotel is a small boy named Maurice. After Maurice died in the hotel, his distraught parents returned to the hotel again and again, hoping to see him again. Eventually, Maurice appeared to his mother, and to this day guests have reported seeing him in the room where he died.
