The Haunted Hike In Louisiana That Will Send You Running For The Hills
If you have never experienced a haunted hike, you should consider visiting the Tree Farm Massacre attraction in Leesville, LA. They have truly created a hike through the woods around Lake Vernon that is like no other.

During the Halloween season, this unique haunted attraction can be found at 458 Tree Farm Rd. in Leesville, LA.

Apparently, the area was being used to research developing genetically redesigned trees that were capable of gobbling up more CO2 than the average tree.

The trees were not only using up more CO2, but they were emitting more than simply oxygen. For some reason, the modified trees emitted gases that made researchers in the area aggressive and paranoid.

It's still up for debate whether any of these trees remain, making the entire journey through this area incredibly spooky.

On special nights during the Halloween season, there are 'blackouts', meaning the hike is done almost completely in the dark.

It really gives me the chills just thinking about it!
