We’re always on the hunt for those small town restaurants that’ll serve you one of the best meals you’ve ever had. While Breaux Bridge may be known as the “Crawfish Capital of the World,” they’ve got a spicy side that you need to check out. Let’s take a closer look at Hacienda, one of the best Mexican restaurants in Louisiana.
Nestled in the heart of Cajun Country, Hacienda is a welcome retreat from the many Cajun restaurants you'll find in the area.
For starters, be sure to get their signature appetizer, the Molcajete. This tasty dish combines fajita chicken and beef, shrimp, and chorizo along with onions, bell peppers, a myriad of spices and then smothered in that delicious white queso and served with chips. So good, you may not want to share!
The extensive menu features just about every authentic Mexican dish you could think of, plus a few Hacienda specialities you'll want to try. Their fajitas, in particular, are a neighborhood favorite.
But you can also chow down on crispy chimichangas, loaded quesadillas, burritos, and more! No matter what you get, you'll be completely satisfied and probably end up with leftovers to take home.
