Three Generations Of A Louisiana Family Have Owned And Operated The Legendary Frank’s Restaurant
Louisiana is full of long-standing, family-owned restaurants that have become neighborhood favorites. If you’re in the Greater Baton Rouge Area, consider dining at Frank’s Restaurant, a rustic restaurant that’s now in its third generation, continuing on the family business.

Frank Dedman Sr. and his wife, Carolyn, opened the business in 1964, although it was originally known as the Blue Bird Drive-In. In 1972, they converted the drive-in to a country-style restaurant and renamed it Frank’s.

The original is still in Baton Rouge, and the second location is not too far away in Prairieville. Today, the third generation of Dedman’s runs the family business, celebrating over 50 years in business.

They also know their way around the smokehouse, and they've got some of the best ribs and BBQ platters around.

It’s what they’re known for. It took over a year of tinkering to get the recipe just right!

They're definitely a reason to visit for breakfast.

Drizzle yours with honey for a tried and true Southern treat.
For a full menu of either location, visit their website and be sure to give them a follow on Facebook, too. Have you ever dined at Frank’s? What did you think of the biscuits? Let us know in the comments!
