Louisiana will pretty much throw a festival for anything. With over 400 festivals a year, you can expect that there’s some amazing festival going on almost every weekend. This particular festival is not to be missed. It’s one-of-a-kind, quirky, and an incredible family-friendly festival that you and the kids are sure to love. Let’s check it out.
Located in the heart of Cajun Country, Rayne is a quirky little city with a lot to brag about. Known as the "Frog Capital of the World" and the "Louisiana City of Murals," Rayne used to be a major exporter of frogs to restaurants all over the country.
This year, the festival takes place May 8-11, and you won’t want to miss it. This family-friendly festival has it all: good food, cold drinks, kid-friendly attractions, carnival rides, and so much more.
The whole city gets involved in this festival! Local businesses decorate their storefronts and compete for first place in the "Paint the Town Green" competition. Winners will be announced Thursday, May 9th at 7:30 p.m. on the main stage.
