There are 21 state parks in Louisiana, and each one has something unique to offer. If you find yourself in Washington Parish, you need to take the time to visit Bogue Chitto State Park. It’s a secluded treasure that nature lovers will find hard to leave.
One of the newer state parks to Louisiana, the Bogue Chitto State Park has only been around since 2010, but it’s captured the hearts of many nature lovers in Washington Parish.
