When you think of white sandy beaches, Louisiana may not be the first place that comes to mind, but did you know we have some beautiful white sandy beaches that are perfect for summertime adventures? From Holly Beach to Jimmie Davis State Park, Louisiana is home to several lovely beaches that are great day trips. Now don’t get us wrong, we know these beaches are tough to compare to those stunners a little further east, but you don’t always have the time to pack your backs and drive several hours out to those beautiful Gulf Coast beaches; however, Fontainebleau State Park is an easily accessible beach that will quickly become your go-to spot for the summer. Let’s check it out:
Fontainebleau State Park is open daily from dawn until dusk. If you find yourself wanting to extend your stay (and we wouldn’t blame you), you can always rent one of the incredible waterfront cabins, then you’ll be able to enjoy that beautiful beach whenever you want!
