I absolutely love Louisiana’s small towns. They are the heartbeat of the Pelican State and they’re where you’ll find some of the best restaurants, shopping opportunities, and hidden gems. One of my favorite small towns in Louisiana is Farmerville, a tiny little town in Union Parish that’s home to fewer than 5,000 folks. There are a lot of things to do in Farmerville, especially right now. Soon, the town will host its annual Watermelon Festival, one of the sweetest festivals in the state. Let’s check it out:
