There are actually two locations, and the other one is in Slidell. The Maniac location is the original, and it’s been in operation since 1934. Louis Middendorf and his wife, Josie, ran the restaurant for many years before a new family took over in 2007. Staying true to the "soul" of the restaurant, many recipes have remained the same while adding a few new items here and there. The Slidell location was opened in 2019, and no matter which location you visit, you'll find a similar menu with a similar atmosphere.
There's seating both indoors and outside, and both come with beautiful views.
