11 Fall Festivals In Louisiana You Don't Want To Miss This Year

This free event is jam packed with live music, kids activities, water slides, climbing walls, hot air balloon rides, and of course, meat pies. Be sure to stick around on the 15th for the balloon glow at 9pm (truly mesmerizing!) and then on Saturday the 16th for a zombie "Thriller" dance (7pm) and the grand finale fireworks display at 10pm.

This unique festival features wooden and classic boats on display, a classic car and motorcycle show, and a children’s village full of activities for the little ones. Tons of local vendors come out so there’s plenty to eat and drink, and it’s all on the beautiful Tchefuncte River.

This festival is jam-packed full of activities including a grand parade, carnival, arts and crafts, live music, a 5k run, a car show and so much more. There’s also a rice eating contest, a fiddle and accordion contest, and a frog derby you won’t want to miss.

Every year hundreds of people come out to enjoy the Andouille Festival to enjoy this traditional Louisiana sausage.
