As the temperature heats up, we here at Only in Louisiana want to keep you in the know about the most amazing places to swim throughout this great state. But this one really “blue” me away! Can you believe what’s here? We think you are going to fall in love with this spot in Kisatchie National Forest.
The name of this little pond is Blue Hole and you can find it in the Fort Polk WMA of Kisatchie National Forest.
To get there from Leesville, take U.S. Hwy 171 south 7 miles to LA Hwy 10, turn left and go straight when LA Hwy 10 turns right onto Forest Service Road 405 (Tank Road). Follow FR 405 to the signs to Blue Hole on the left.
This cozy little recreation area is home to a gorgeous pond known as the Blue Hole.
We think you'll have a day at this beautiful water that you won't soon forget!
And, we found this amazing video of the Blue Hole Pond in Northern Louisiana, Caddo Parish, which is a truly amazing hidden gem on its own. This video of the Hebert brothers doing a free dive into that unique Blue Hole pond. It’s incredible.
Isn’t that crazy? Let us know if you’ve ever visited these places before. We love to hear what your experiences have been like.
