When you want to experience true Cajun culture, there’s no better spot to be than Breaux Bridge. Known as the “Crawfish Capital of the World,” this town outside of Lafayette welcomes everyone to experience what it means to be Cajun. Of course, Zydeco is a pillar of Cajun Country, and this unique restaurant in Louisiana does a weekly Zydeco breakfast that’ll have your toes tapping…even if you have two left feet!
Despite its unassuming exterior, Buck & Johnny’s is one of the most popular restaurants in Breaux Bridge.
And the dining room/dance floor is as eclectic as the menu. The building was the old Domingue’s Motors building for many years, and the owners have done a wonderful job at keeping the history while making it their own.

From the pizzas to the pasta dishes, the portions are generous here.
Buck & Johnnys is open for lunch and dinner six days a week, but if you really want a one-of-a-kind experience, join them for the weekly Zydeco Breakfast.
There’s a $10 cover charge and it’s first come, first served. They don’t take reservations, so you’ll want to get there early! For $15 you can get bottomless mimosas, too!
Musicians take the stage from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., with a special breakfast menu served until 11 a.m.
Just be sure to wear your dancin' shoes, because you'll end up on the dance floor at some point! I know I always *say* I'm not going to dance, but then I see everyone else dancing the day away and want to be part of the fun!
Visit Buck & Johnny’s website for more information, and be sure to follow Buck & Johnny’s on Facebook so you never miss out on any upcoming events, specials, and more. If you want to spend a few days sightseeing, there are plenty of affordable Vrbo’s in Breaux Bridge to choose from.
