1) Beauty School Dropout?
A man in Shreveport, LA attempted to rob a beauty school---only to find the students and workers were ready to fight back. He ended up being jumped by everyone at the school and had to be taken to the hospital for his injuries.
2) Bucket Head
In Slidell, a former employee wandered into his old restaurant, Kenny’s Seafood, and tried to rob the place. His disguise? A bucket over his head. Somehow, he was still recognized by his former co-workers.
3) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle
In Lafayette in 2014, a Louisiana teen put on a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle mask and a stick wrapped in plastic to rob a convenience store. He was arrested after fleeing by foot just a few minutes later.
4) Wrong Place, Wrong…Place
In Shreveport, a man was arrested in the parking lot of the Bossier Maximum Security Facility. He was found with a fair amount of Marijuana and taken right back into prison---where he had just recently been released.
5) Stole the Wrong Bike
A bike thief in New Orleans walked into a popular local sport’s store, Masseys trying to sell his goods. Little did he know the bike he had stolen was owned by the assistant manager of the store! Guess New Orleans is a small town after all.
6) Too Close to Home
In Baton Rouge, a man decided to rob someone close to home---the mechanic who had been working on his car for over a year. After stealing $300 from his mechanic, the auto repairman promptly identified him to police and had him arrested.

8) Wrong Number
In Lake Charles in 2008, police officers found a stolen car and dialed the owner to report is found. The owner called back 30 minutes later, asking the police to buy $150 worth of crack cocaine. Apparently she confused the police officer’s number with her dealer’s number.
9) Donut Trail
In Slidell in 2002, two people left a 15-mile-long trail of donuts from Krispy Kreme after they stole the restaurant’s truck from a parking lot. They were found and arrested in Lacombe, where it was unclear whether they stole the truck for transportation or food.
