Louisiana has definitely had some challenges this year. But the flooding in August was perhaps the most difficult. It’s hard to believe how many homes suffered from those historic storms, but in some ways this footage captures it better than anything else. As the holiday season is upon us, let’s take the time to remember those who may be having a difficult time this year, especially if they haven’t been able to return to their homes.

This video was taken in the Pumpkin Center area off of I-12 on Bankston Rd on August 16, 2016. We know that so much has changed in these area since then. Are you still recovering from these floods?
