Ready for a road trip? This hidden gem tucked away in southeastern Louisiana has been serving up some mouthwateringly good burgers and shakes for over 50 years, and they’re certainly worth the pilgrimage. The best part? You don’t even have to get out of your car!
Tucked away in the tiny town of Larose in Lafourche Parish, D&D Drive-In has been a favorite with locals since it opened its doors in 1964.
Their burgers are legendary and an absolute must-try. Just look at those beasts! They’re cooked to perfection and piled high with all of your favorite toppings.
In addition to burgers and hot dogs, D&D also features an assortment of incredible po’boys to sink your teeth into. Can’t decide on which one to get? No problem - you can order half-po’boys, so you don’t have to choose just one!
Not in the mood for a burger or a po’boy? D&D also offers several hot plate options, including seafood plates, pork chops, and a hearty hamburger steak with onions and gravy.
Just look at the size of this banana split! At D&D Drive-In, it’s appropriately called a banana pontoon, and you’ll need a small army to help finish it off.
You can find D&D Drive-In at 12410 W Main St., Larose, LA 70373. The restaurant is open from six days a week from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and is closed on Wednesdays. For more information, visit the restaurant’s Facebook page.
