With over 100 acres to explore, it’s no surprise that the Comite River Park is a popular attraction for locals in the Greater Baton Rouge Area seeking some outdoor adventure.

The park is operated by BREC, the recreation and park commission for East Baton Rouge Parish that oversees more than 100 parks in the area.
Running along both the Comite River and Cypress Bayou, the park features a 5.5-mile trail that will quickly become your new favorite hiking spot.

Since it’s a popular trail for both mountain bikers and hikers, it’s suggested that hikers use the trail in reverse.
