The Christmas Village In Louisiana That Becomes Even More Magical Year After Year
LARC’s Acadian Village authentically depicts a typical Cajun village lifestyle in the 19th century. In the ’70s, 23 acres of land were cleared to build this amazing little village. Of the 11 buildings in the village, seven are authentic homes from the 19th century that were donated by families whose ancestors once lived in them. Each December, Acadian Village transforms into an enchanting display of Christmas lights, animated displays, carnival rides, and live entertainment. This event gets better and better every year, and it’s one of my favorite places to visit during the holiday season. And in my opinion, you should make plans to celebrate Christmas at Acadian Village this year! Here’s more on why you won’t want to miss this magical town celebrating Christmas in Louisiana.
