Visit C'est Bon Restaurant, The Small-Town Diner In Louisiana That's Been Around Since The 1980s
Here at Only In Louisiana, we definitely have a soft spot for mom-and-pop restaurants and specialty shops. We search high and low to find the best hidden gems we can find to your fingertips, and this incredible family-owned restaurant down in Mermentau might just be one of our very favorites of all time.

C'est Bon has been around since August of 1986. Back then, they served just the basics of Cajun cuisine, such as po' boys and boiled crawfish.

Over 30 years have passed since those days, though, and they've since acquired a larger building to support their ever-increasing fan base.

The scent of the cooking spices and delectable dishes is as much a part of the atmosphere as the decor.

They don't just serve lunch and dinner - breakfast is available until 10:00 a.m., so make sure to check in early sometime.

They also usually mention "the best boiled seafood ever," and we're inclined to agree.

Make sure to stop in on Wednesday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. for exquisite specials like boiled blue point crab (season permitting) and king crab legs.
They don’t have a homepage, per se, but they’re available on Facebook if you’d like to check out their menu and hours here.
