Bayou Cajun Fest takes place May 11-13 and features live music, carnival rides, and some of the best Cajun food you’ll ever taste. Location: Larose Regional Park & Civic Center, Larose, LA 70303.

The Mayhaw Festival began in 1993 and only gets better with age. Celebrating all things mayhaw, you can stock up on jams and jellies while you enjoy the carnival rides, kids games, car shows, and more. What began as a two-day festival in 1984 has now become a four-day extravaganza and one of the largest and most popular Cajun festivals around.
