This pirate-themed festival is perhaps one of the most unique in the state, and you don’t want to miss it. The festival takes place on both land and sea, including watercraft exhibitions, a boat parade, local arts and crafts, a petting zoo, and so much more. The Cochon De Lait Festival returns for its 44th year on May 10-13, so get ready for a good time. Mansura is the Cochon de Lait capital of the world, so it’s only fitting that they host the celebration. Held May 10-12, the festival is full of live music, food and drinks, carnival rides, and their signature events like frog racing, frog jumping, and even a frog cookout and frog-eating contest!

The Mayhaw Festival began in 1993 and only gets better with age.
