Whether you’re a seasoned outdoorsman or new to exploring nature’s pathways, the Bodcau Wildlife Management Area is one of the most beautiful natural areas in Louisiana. From cypress-lines swamps to canopies of pine and hardwood forests, there’s a lot to love about this special wildlife management area, so let’s check it out.
The Bodcau Wildlife Management Area is located in northwest Louisiana in both Bossier and Webster Parishes.
Hunting and fishing are both popular pastimes here. For fishermen, Ivan Lake has a few piers that are great for dropping a line and catching yourself dinner.
No matter how you chose to enjoy this beautiful slice of paradise, keep your eyes peeled for wildlife along the way. White-tailed deer, rabbits, and turkeys are always around and bird waters will enjoy seeing and hearing the many doves, quail, hawks, and owls that call the area home.
