Located in Baton Rouge, the Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center is a 103-acre facility that’s truly one of the most incredible hidden gems in Louisiana.
Filled with informative exhibits, artifacts, mineral displays and more, you'll learn all about the area and the center's conservation and preservation efforts.
Over a mile of trails will lead you on a journey through multiple habitats and ecosystems including a cypress-tupelo swamp, a beech-magnolia forest, and a hardwood forest.
In addition to the many raccoons, possums, armadillos, snakes, and deer, the Bluebonnet Nature Center is home to countless species of feathered friends that call the area home.
