Next time you’re in the Shreveport area you have to stop by and try this amazing restaurant serving some of the best Cajun and Creole food you’ll ever eat—it just may become your new favorite restaurant!

It’s located at 120 Texas Street, in one of the oldest buildings in Shreveport, dating back to 1855.

The restaurant is named after an interesting tradition. During prohibition, restaurants would often leave small toy animals (often tigers) on the tables to indicate that there were back rooms where you could get a drink and gamble. The tiger would turn a blind eye on this behavior, and so these restaurants became known as blind tigers.
