The Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge was established in 1997 and is one of the most popular natural attractions in northeastern Louisiana.

Located in Monroe, it’s easy to see why this 4,600-acre refuge is so popular with nature lovers.
Studded with beautiful cypress and tupelo trees, the swampy views are truly mesmerizing.
