Of all the different restaurant lists we’ve created, this one might have been the most challenging. There is just SO much delicious seafood in Louisiana. We did our best to pick all different kinds of restaurants that have one thing in common: the best seafood possible.
1. GW Fins, New Orleans, LA
An award-winning restaurant in the heart of the French Quarter New Orleans, GW Fins offers innovative and unique plates of fish and other seafood.
House cured Salmon served with dill, preserved lemon, capers, and horseradish.
2. Steamboat Bill’s, Lake Charles, LA
3. Middendorf’s, Akers, LA
For more than 75 years, Middendorf’s has been the place for the most fresh, delicious and comforting seafood in Southern Louisiana.
4. Drusilla Seafood, Baton Rouge, LA
Established in 1982, Drusilla’s offers traditional favorites as well as modern seafood pairings in a relaxed but warm atmosphere.

5. Acme Oyster House, New Orleans, LA
A French Quarter staple that is now a small chain, Acme Oyster House set the standard for the family style fried seafood house in Louisiana.
6. Parrain’s, Baton Rouge, LA
Since 2001, Parrain’s has offered high quality seafood to residents of the mid-city district of Baton Rouge.
This panéed drum topped with fried oysters and finished with a Bienville sauce is a house favorite.
7. Mike Anderson’s, Baton Rouge, LA
For 30 years, Mike Anderson’s of Baton Rouge, LA offers a festive atmosphere and a huge array of Southern Louisiana seafood favorites, including Catfish Lefete, pictured here.
8. Morton’s Seafood Restaurant & Bar, Madisonville, LA
Right off the Tchefuncte River in Madisonville, LA, Morton’s features an extensive fresh seafood menu and a beautiful river view.
9. Catfish Charlie’s, Monroe, LA
Known for their thin cut and crispy friend catfish, (pictured here,) Catfish Charlie’s offers a laid back atmosphere and delicious seafood favorites to diners throughout the Monroe area.
10. Lagneaux’s, Lafayette, LA
Crawfish Bisque, Crawfish Etouffee, fried crawfish, crawfish au gratin, crawfish stuffed bell pepper, crawfish stuffed heads, house salad and bread. AKA the Crawfish Platter. Need I say more?
11. Fisherman’s Cove Harbor Seafood & Oyster Bar, Kenner, LA
It's always crowded and filled with seafood favorites.
A down-home classic, there's just nothing like the seafood you can get here.
12. Herby K’s, Shreveport, LA
A legendary seafood restaurant, the down-home vibe pairs with their divine seafood perfectly.
The Shrimp Buster, (pictured here,) offers a unique twist on the standard shrimp po-boy: butterflied shrimp pounded flat.
13. Peche, New Orleans, LA
One of the youngest restaurants on this list, the New Orleans based restaurant has taken the Louisiana seafood scene by storm, led by their award winning chef Donald Link. Their signature whole-fish grilling style is pictured here, with grilled whole redfish.
