When you have so many good ideas at once, why not combine them for one epically delicious road trip? This particular road trip in Louisiana will take you to some of the most scenic parks in the state, as well as some of the best places to grab a slice of pizza. Go ahead and combine the two and get your pizza to-go so you can enjoy it at one of these awesome parks. 1. Pizza Man

We begin our road trip in St. Tammany Parish at one of the most family-friendly pizzerias in Louisiana, Pizza Man. They've been cranking out the best pizza on the Northshore since 1976, and one of the biggest perks to this hidden gem is getting to watch the pizza man himself make your pizza right before your very eyes.
2. Bogue Falaya Park

This scenic little park has some impressive waterfront views of the Bogue Falaya River, plus several playgrounds for the kids to enjoy. There are several picnic benches around the park, so if you have some leftovers from Pizza Man, this would be a great place to enjoy it!
At this point, you can either book a room at the Best Western Covington or if you want to drive for a little bit longer, the Denham Spring Best Western is less than an hour away.

Chicot State Park, so if you want to double up on your nature fix, this is the place to do it!
