When it comes to epic road trips, the Creole Nature Trail certainly delivers. The 180-mile All-American Road weaves through southwest Louisiana showcasing everything from bayous to beaches, so it’s no wonder why we think it’s one of the best road trips in Louisiana!
You'll want to begin your journey at Creole Nature Trail Adventure Point In Sulphur.
If you want to get out and stretch your legs, take a stroll down the Blue Goose Trail, a short and sweet boardwalk trail with a stunning overlook of the surrounding marsh.
Stop off at the Cameron Prairie National Wildlife Refuge or Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge for an up-close look at our beautiful marshlands. The Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge has the highest alligator nesting density in the country, so you stand a good chance at seeing some wildlife here.
