There are a million reasons to love Louisiana, and Cajun food is at the top of the list. When you’re looking to feast like a king on some of the finest Cajun food in Louisiana, look no further than Bergeron’s Boudin and Cajun Meats in northern Louisiana. Bring an ice chest and get ready to stock your freezer!
Established in 2002, Bergeron’s Boudin and Cajun Meats has been a favorite pit-stop for locals looking to feast on delicious Cajun specialty meats.
Over the years, this locally owned and operated joint has grown to include multiple locations around Louisiana including Shreveport, Bossier City, Gonzales, and the 7,000 square foot restaurant in Port Allen.
And the boudin balls? A no-brainer. These hand-rolled balls of perfectly seasoned pork and rice are fried to a golden brown, giving them that perfect crispy crunch you’re looking for in a boudin ball. Get yours with a pepper jack filling or keep it traditional.
Of course, you’ll want to stock up on some cracklins for the drive home. These hand cut, kettle fried cracklins are always hot and ready to be devoured.
For more information, be sure to check out their website and give them a follow on Facebook.
