When you think of Louisiana, a few things come to mind. Bayous, swamps, good food, and alligators are probably the first few things that pop into your head. There’s one amazing festival that takes over this charming town for a weekend, and it’s so perfectly Louisianian that you absolutely have to check it out.
The festival works hard to make it a family atmosphere that kids and adults of all ages can enjoy.
Support local artists! Some of the most talented artists around come out to display their works, so be sure to check them out. You might find something you’ll love.
One of the main reasons to attend any festival in Louisiana is the food, and this event is no different. Feast on some of Louisiana’s most popular dishes featuring alligator like gator pasta, gator jambalaya, fried alligator, and so much more.
And the best part of the festival? Admission is only $1!
Just keep in mind that you'll have to pay for any carnival rides you'd like to ride.
The Alligator Festival takes place at the Westbank Bridge Park, located at 13825 River Rd., Luling, LA 70070. Check out their website here for more details and follow along on their Facebook page here.
