There’s something so relaxing about taking a casual stroll through nature preserves. Surrounding yourself with a sea of emerald greens and the symphony of sounds from the songbirds up above can be the energy boost you need to get through your week, and we’ve got the perfect spot. Today, we’re heading over to the Acadiana Park Nature Station to take a closer look at these scenic trails that will certainly bring out the explorer in you.
Before you begin your journey through the trails, pop into the nature center, where you can learn all about the history of the area and maybe even meet some of the wildlife.
Along the way, you’ll be met with marvelous views of the surrounding swamps and marshes, and there are even interpretive signs along the way so you can learn as you go.
There’s even a canoe/kayak launch on the north side of the Nature Station, so you can bring your boat and explore the center from an entirely new perspective.
For more information, be sure to check out the Nature Station’s website and give them a follow on Facebook so you don’t miss out on any upcoming events.
