Located in Newport, the World Peace Bell is the largest free-standing bell in the world. This impressive symbol weighs 66,000 pounds, is 12 feet tall, and 12 feet in diameter. It swings and rings every day at noon, but it's remarkable to see anytime.

Many people don't realize that the world's largest Sassafras tree is right here in Kentucky. Located in the city of Owensboro, it was first measured in 1883 and is believed to be 250-300 years old. It is over 100 feet tall and measures 16 feet in circumference.
