I grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. I have lived elsewhere twice, but keep coming back. I'm a video editor and freelance writer who enjoys watching people wearing University of Louisville uniforms excel at sports, scaling the faces of large rocks, and hanging out with my border collie/laborador/cattle dog mutt thingy that I have.

To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
It may be the middle of winter, but sometimes daydreaming about future trips once the weather warms up in the spring can help cure the winter blues. The Pioneer Room celebrates Kentucky's early history and settlement. The room is decorated with geological artifacts of the karst region, as well as a topographical map of the area.
The Patriot Room is full of knick-knacks and decorations commemorating American history and important figures. This room is on the second floor and has a gorgeous view of the surrounding farm.
You don't want to miss out on the breakfasts here. They use as many local ingredients as they can in their meals, many of which come from right there on the farm.
