I write like it's my job - because it is! I have a Master's in English and love words: crossword puzzles, Scrabble games, Wordle, and, of course, good, old-fashioned books.
I'm a writer and editor at OnlyInYourState, and a contributing writer at Cincinnati Magazine. I love the Great Outdoors and am endlessly awestruck by this beautiful country of ours. Coffee keeps me going, yoga keeps me sane, my kids keep me grounded, and my writing keeps me inspired.
Outdoor ice skating, visits with Santa, Christmas markets, mugs of hot cocoa… this sounds like a scene straight out of a Hallmark movie… or, the Fête De Noël festival in Kentucky. This holiday season, come to Paristown and walk through a winter wonderland complete with ice skating, trackless train rides, Christmas movies, and more. This is a delightful festival in Kentucky that’s a big, ole dose of Christmas spirit.
Christmas in Kentucky is a total sensory experience. There's a chill to the air, scent of fresh pine trees and hot cocoa, hum of holiday tunes and children's laughter, and bright twinkling lights all around.
For six blissful weeks in November and December, this Louisville neighborhood transforms into a veritable winter wonderland, offering visitors the total holiday package.
An outdoor ice skating rink beckons all to come and embrace this beloved winter activity. This 100'x50' outdoor ice skating rink is an authentic sheet of ice and features festive holiday music, skate rentals for all ages, and connected concession stand bar.
Tickets to Fête De Noël can be purchased on the event website. Ice skating, photos with Santa, and train rides are all sold separately, so you can customize your experience as you'd like.
