Venture River Water Park In Kentucky Will Make You Feel Like A Kid Again

Summer means a ton of fun – whether we’re swimming in a natural swimming hole or riding the coasters at our favorite amusement park. The hottest season of the year also gives us the chance to feel like a kid again, indulging in ice cream cones and screaming as we zip down towering slides at Venture River Water Park in Kentucky.

Billed as the "only water park in Western Kentucky," Venture River Water Park promises a ton of thrills, plenty of chances to relax, and good summer food.

However, life will be a bit different at the water park this year, due to the ongoing pandemic. All guests are asked to practice social distancing of at least six feet and must have their temperature taken, for example.

If you've been waiting all year for the thrills you can only get from soaring down a towering waterslide, make your way to The Cliffhanger. Don't worry - it *only* drops 3.5 stories.

For another 3.5-story adventure with a triple drop, go straight for the Fumbi! Venture River Water Park has water slide attractions for guests of all ages and all daredevil levels.

All of those heart-pounding chills can mean only one thing: Taking a break for a float on the lazy river. You might even catch a quick nap to go with the golden sunshine.

Be sure to visit Wipeout, too, a water playground for kids and adults of all ages. The playground features slides and flushing buckets.

A day at the water park certainly wouldn't be complete without some old-fashioned goodies. Stop by the concession stands for a bite to eat and a drink.
