I am somewhat a cliche'. I grew up running around barefoot on a farm in Kentucky.
I love writing, art, sunshine, all animals and my incredibly patient husband, who tolerates my "crazy animal lady" side.
All work and no play can make us all pretty dull people, even in Kentucky. There are some jobs that make the minutes grind by, and we struggle to make it through the day. Then there are the dream jobs, the ones where we wake up with a smile everyday.
Here are 10 Bluegrass jobs that make it worth going into work each day:
This Louisville Company has several locations, all helping members of the community stay healthy. It's not only known for helping people medically, via physicians and staff, but also for the great treatment reported by employees, both past and present.
This is one of those jobs that usually doesn’t get boring. What is not to like about going to different establishments, eating, drinking, and then reviewing their wares. All around the world, people perform unfulfilling, menial tasks daily, just to make ends meet. There is no greater feeling than having a job your happy with and enjoy doing. This makes getting up every day a pleasure, instead of a chore. Doing something that makes one feel worthwhile in Kentucky can create a lifetime of happiness.
