New Life Thrift in Owensboro is a thrift store with incredible deals, an amazing selection and a big heart.
New Life Thrift in Owensboro was founded with a very clear mission in mind. They state on their Facebook page: "The non-profit Thrift Store generates revenue and the money is reinvested into the local community. People are helped. People are invested in. One at a time, the community grows in hope and purpose." They've created a vital community resource that is welcoming, purposeful and ideal for bargain hunting.
All of the items at New Life have been donated by the community and local churches. Because of this, they are able to keep prices very low. The community is very generous and you'll find high quality clothing, housewares, toys, shoes - just about everything - at the store.
One helpful tip for shoppers is to check out the store's Facebook page (the link is below). They often post photos of their most recent additions and also update it when they've sold. But it's also fun to just stop in and see what you can discover.
So aside from their heartwarming mission, what else makes New Life the best of the best? The store is extremely organized and clean and it's just fun to shop there. They've dressed mannequins in their finest clothing and set up themed sections throughout the store.
The store often has very nice furniture, bedding and other necessities for the home. They aim to provide affordable pieces so that everyone is able to turn their place of living into a home.
There are plenty of choices for the kids, too. From bikes, toys, games, and clothing, you can find anything you may need for your youngest family members.
New Life Thrift Store is open Monday - Friday from 10am to 5pm and Saturdays from 10am to 3pm. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and are truly passionate about continuing the circle of assistance that the store provides.
