The 37 miles of multi-use trails are spread out around the property of the Preserve and offer so much natural beauty.

There are 14 hiking trails throughout the property and each one has something a little different to offer. Many of the trails have sections that are open, like above, and at certain times of year are filled with wildflowers.
Shawnee Run Creek flows along many sections of the trails and is perfect for cooling off and resting for a bit. You can also hike to the Kentucky River and view High Bridge.
If you want to chase waterfalls, try the somewhat challenging Shawnee Run Trail that takes you to a beautiful cascade.
The waterfall flows best after heavy rainfall or even in the winter and early spring. This 6-mile loop trail also has a bit of history, scenic overlooks, and other interesting features.
The natural beauty of this area is truly unique and it's wonderful that you can access it through the Village.
