Erastus Tousey and his wife Catharine built this home in 1822. After they passed away, the home served as a general store, tavern, hotel, gift shop, and many other purposes. Today, it's Tousey House Tavern, and you'll find it at 5963 N. Jefferson St., Burlington, Kentucky.
From the moment you walk in the door, you'll be delighted with the atmosphere in this charming, historic home. The home was lovingly restored in the late 1980s, and it still retains much of its original grace and style.
Enjoy a menu full of perfectly-prepared dishes, including seasonal offerings like this pork chop served over roasted butternut squash and brussels sprouts.
On Sunday, you'll want to stop by for a tasty brunch. Enjoy a relaxing meal with friends and family. Tousey House Tavern creates everything on its menu with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
