A brand new, built from scratch building definitely has its appeal, but there is something extra special about a historic building that’s been restored. When the bones are there and the history is long, we’d much rather see a longstanding building repurposed so the community can continue to support it. This is the story of The Standard in Covington. Formerly a 1930s garage, it is now a cool eatery and hang out in Kentucky where you’ll love the atmosphere, food, drinks, and attention to detail when honoring The Standard’s past.
This hang out in Kentucky offers delicious and unique food and drinks in a vibrant atmosphere. You won’t forget The Standard’s roots as you relax amongst tires and garage tools, but you’ll surely enjoy your time at this cool eatery in Covington. Have you had a chance to hang out at The Standard? What other repurposed buildings in Kentucky do you love? Let us know in the comments!
