You know a restaurant is amazing when it’s teeny tiny, and yet they are expanding to include a new location due to popularity. Apparently, the regulars at El Taco Luchador in Louisville don’t mind the cramped quarters while enjoying the authentic, flavorful tacos and other Mexican street foods. This small restaurant is big on taste and atmosphere and you have to try it as soon as possible.

This tiny taco shop is colorful on the outside and filled with some of the best food in the state inside. Don't be fooled by its size - El Taco Luchador is big on flavor and variety.
The interior has just a few tables, and especially during meal times, it can get crowded.
But as they say, if a restaurant is busy, it's because it is good. And the secret is definitely out that this tiny taco shop has a menu that is filled with mouthwatering options for fulfilling that taco craving.

The menu is written chalkboard-style in the front of the restaurant and even explains certain words and ingredients, so you know exactly what kind of deliciousness to expect in your meal.
One of the best things about this dining spot is the variety. There are several types of tacos, tortas, appetizers, and sides. I haven't done the math, but I'm guessing you could go many many meals without having to experience any repeat combinations.
Of course tacos are a big hit at El Taco Luchador, and there are several to choose from. If you need a place to start, we suggest the Barbacoa. Or the Baja Fish. Or the Vegetariano. Or actually, just one of each.
The Tortas - or Mexican-style sandwich - are also worth a try, and may even be better than the tacos.
The Mole Fries pictured above are french fries smothered in Mole sauce. The Elote Callejeros is grilled corn on the cob topped with mayo, cotija cheese, and Chile pequin. Both pair perfectly with a taco or torta.
