I am somewhat a cliche'. I grew up running around barefoot on a farm in Kentucky.
I love writing, art, sunshine, all animals and my incredibly patient husband, who tolerates my "crazy animal lady" side.
Living in Kentucky can be both a pleasure and a challenge, depending on where you are and what you enjoy in life. The Bluegrass State has some of the most beautiful land in the US, and some of the most unpredictable weather. We are the recipients of four seasons, and they are not necessarily consistent in temperature. It may rain one day, be 75 the next, and then snow during the night. It’s happened before.
That being said, it is always important to be prepared wherever you live. For residents of the Bluegrass State, here are 15 things that can greatly aid in our comfort and survival:
Now some of these things may not seem like a necessity, but they ALL come in handy. It’s highly unlikely that you will ever enter a Kentucky home that doesn’t have at least 12 of the 15 belongings on this list.
