Throughout the month of January, the zoo will donate half of its proceeds to the Australia Zoo to aid their efforts in helping the animals impacted by the fires. If you've ever wanted to visit, now is a great time to plan a day trip.

You will enter into an enclosed area where you'll be able to get up close to kangaroos and emus. Staff of the zoo will be there to give you information about these fascinating animals and you can also purchase food to feed them.

It's very likely that these beautiful birds will land right on you as you walk aroound their enclosed space.
In addition to the exotic animals, the Petting Zoo is always a favorite.

Goats, horses, and sheep live here and you'll be able to pet them and snap some photos. You may even get to see the border collies round up the sheep!
